Planning a Funeral

A gift to you and your family as you complete your estate planning would be to prepare a funeral plan. We plan for most all other events in our lives, why not this one. 

• Preplanning can be done at any time – call the office for an appointment
  • These are topics that may be covered:
    • What to do in the event of a death
    • A review of the Catholic Funeral Rites
    • Selection of the Sacred Scriptures
    • Selection of hymns
    • Selection of family/friends to participate in the Funeral Rites
    • A brief review of your life
    • A copy of the plan will be given to you and a copy retained at the Church
• Time of death:
  • Contact funeral director
  • Time for funeral rites will be decided by family, funeral director and the church
  • Contact Church to schedule meeting to arrange the funeral liturgy
  • Selection of readings and hymns and family/friends to participate
